The experiment was carried out at Zeitouni farm outside Aleppo. The program of forced moulting was as follows: 1. Reducing the daily photoperiod from /17h to 6h/. 2. Reducing the amount of food from (165gr /bird/d to 75gr /bird/d). The results showed that our program was effective in inducing a forced moulting in /2 weeks/. Forced moulting increased egg production and hatchability by more than (5) in comparison with the production and hatchability in the last months of /1/ productive year.
