To determine the best fitness for the lactation curve of the Tinerfena dairy goat, monthly milk yield of 961 animals from 13 different herds were studied, the first control were 30 days after kidding and seven controls were made. For the adjustments of the curve we used a selfmade program in APL, and we considered as variation factors: the herd, the lactation number, the season of kidding, and the litter size.
