Herbicide by cultivar interactions in wheat: the response to chlorsulfuron. [Assembly paper].
1986
Bowran D.G.
Recommended wheat cultivars were treated with chlorsulfuron at 30g per ha at three sites in 1983 and 1984 in weed-free conditions. Differential cultivar response was present in both years, and the 1984 results showed that Aroona, Bodallin and Gamenya were the most tolerant to chlorsulfuron, while the most sensitive were Cranbrook, Milling, Millewa and Tincurrin. Cultivar reaction was dependent on site, with Merredin giving the least response and Mount Barker the greatest response in 1984. Cultivars insensitive to gibberellic acid had a larger yield reduction at all sites in both years.
