Pengaruh bahan induk dan topografi terhadap kesuburan tanah 2. Perkebunan Bojongterong, Jawa Barat.
1991
Goenadi D.H.
Previous study in the area of the Southern Mountain of Java, especially in the southern area of West Java, topography and parent material determine the distribution and development of the soils more than the other soil forming factors do. In order to derive conclusive results, other five-representative pedons were investigated at the Bojonegoro estate, Sukabumi, West Java to determine the effect of topography and parent material on the fertility of the soils. On the basis of the macromorphological data the dominant soil type in the area belonged to mediterans of the 1961 Soepraptohardjo's classification system. Other soils present in a narrower distribution were regosol and litosol. According to the 1990 soil taxonomy, these soils met the criteria of alfisol and entisol orders, respectively. The fertility of each soil type in the area studied seems to rely on parent material, topography, and/or interaction of both factors.
