Sunflower acclimation and production availability in arid and semiarid lands is an alternative for our regions. The objective of the present work was to study the dry matter accumulation and distribution in 5 sunflower varieties and their influence on seed production and quality. The results show that variety SAN-3C (from UAAAN) has higher dry matter production and seed yield and the variety SANE-23578 (from UAAAN) reports the higher protein content and harvest index.
