The effectiveness against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Alternaria zinnae and Fusarium culmorum of a number of fungicides used to treat zinnia seeds has been studied. The four fungicides vary in their effectiveness against the three pathogens and only one of them shows a harmful effect on seed germination and plant growth.
