The trail has investigated the influence of an enzymatic preparation obtained from pig pancreas - panzcebil - produced by ICCF Bucuresti and a bacterial alpha amylase obtained from Bacillus sp cultures and produced by ICA Bucuresti on growth performances of different categories of piglets. The enzymatic preparations were added to the diet of suckling piglets (14-42 days) and grower pigs (55-90 days) from 0.5 to 1.0 per cent. The piglets belong to the LW, L and LS-345 Peris breeds and were allotted to 4 experimental groups. The suckling piglets which received bacterial alpha maylase realized a 10 per cent more daily weight gain and a better feed conversion (6 per cent) compared to control group. Landrace piglets exceeded the LW and LS-345 Peris breeds from growth rate and feed efficiency point of view (6-9 per cent and respective 7-10 per cent). The growers which received the two enzymatic preparations between 55-70 days old realized 4 per cent more daily weight gain (panzcebil) and respective 7-12 per cent (bacterial alpha amilase) compared to control group. The feed efficiency was improved with 15 per cent compared to control. The removing of amylase from grower diet (70-90 days) in the of maintaining of conditions the growth performances pleads for the lack of the feedback inhibition phenomenon, respective for a simulation effect on piglets to secrete its own enzymes.
