We are witnessing, in practice, that the increasingly frequent problem of acute gastrointestinal illness in the acute phase, with sudden symptoms inapetente, where we must act very quickly, because any delay could take a very large problem on the final outcome for the patient. Although there are a large number of these states in small animals practice, one of more common and certainly the most urgent situation is a result of foreign body in gastrointestinal tract.
