A number of technologies have been used in agricultural biomass combustion systems. One of those fully developed here is cigarette type combustion. Main advantages of the technology are: there is no change in the form of biomass (it is burned in the same form which was collected from fields), particular power consumption is minimal, and investment and operation costs are reduced. For high-quality combustion of biomass bales, it is necessary to feed it continuously and automatically. The device for bale biomass feeding, presented in this paper, enables continuous, controlled and complete biomass combustion. Biomass is in form of small bales, parallelepiped shape with dimensions 40x50x80cm. Bales that can be handled manually because of its’ weight (about 12-15 kg) are called small bales. Continuous biomass feeding is achieved by introducing the bales from bale repository (which can hold a number of bales, placed one above the other) to feeding channel by piston cylinders and further continuously fed into the combustion chamber by rack driven by electromotor. The heat produced by biomass combustion is transported to user or stored in a heat accumulator of a corresponding volume.
