The paper is discussed the possibility of some cultivation of oil plants in the territory of the Republic of Serbia whose oil could serve as feedstock for biodiesel production. Given a brief description of rapeseed, sunflower, castor and šafranjike and technology for their cultivation. Summarizes the total arable land and soil types present in the Republic of Serbia.
