The agriculture is a giant that affects all the areas of economy. For this reason, goal of this paper, making use of the history of development of machines and energy resources, is to show that it is possible to direct the huge invent potential of mankind either to the right goal - into the target, or environmentally wrong goal - to miss the target. When mankind takes part in biological cycles then soil loses minerals with the exploitation of vegetation. The harvested plants are transformed into bio-resources and burn as bio-fuels, mostly without critical analysis. Regarding biomass, burning is a serious act, as it is irreversible, after which, the soil degrades. The Earth is like a spaceship with limited material and energetic capacities. The responsibility of us, humans, is to control our activities to a rational and environmentally acceptable level.
