The aim of this study was to determine the health and productivity of dairy cows in the function of welfare on the farm recently. In this trial entered 19 dairy farms on the territory of AP Vojvodina (Serbia). In our studies 9 farms had a good level of welfare, 8 acceptable, and the other two farms were unclassified because of disparities in health and hygienic conditions of cows. The health and productivity of cows depend on the level of welfare on the farm. In cows with a lower level of welfare on the farm there are problem with physical fitness, lameness, skin lesions, infections and digestive organs, respiratory and reproductive disorders. Cows on farms with less valuable asset assessed benefits have significantly lower milk production and have a longer service period.
