The results of ensilaging of unwilted and wilted biomass of perennial legumes (bird's foot trefoil, red and white clover, etc.) are shown in this paper. Influence of dry matter levels and addition of ground corn on the chemical composition and fermentation parameters were observed. Addition of ground corn has affected decrease of crude cellulose and crude protein in silage and creation of favorable conditions for the lactic acid fermentation. Biomass wilting has provided better silage which received higher marks by DLG method.
