The soil examined in this work is located near Zlatari village in the vicinity of Resen, Republic of Macedonia. The purpose of the research in this work as a part of preliminary examinations of total content of heavy metals Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn and Mn and the number of microorganisms in the soil planted with apple. The examined soil in the village of Zlatari near Resen is calcaredus type of soil. otal content of Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn and Mn in the soil is within permitted doses (Webber, 1984). The examined soil contains high number of microorganisms which indicates that the soil is highly biogenic and fertile which is precondition for increase of ecological production with high quality and obtaining high yield.
