At present, big attention is given to historical parks and outplantings, which can be potentially used for recreation and leisure activities. In context with reconstruction of historical parks and gardens trend, we participated on the project of such object restoration in Vrakúň settlement. Within this reconstruction project we analyzed the historical evolution of the object, woody species structure and damage, as well as the composition design of primary outplanting. Subsequently the proposal of the spatial design and object reconstruction was processed so it meets the standard of new recreation resort. The paper is aimed at evaluation of park woody assortment evolution and possibility of revitalization and landscaping design of object where several utility functions meet at present.
