Park objects - parks, small area parks, parks strips and greenery in public spaces are necessary components of everyday life of every man. The first aim of our research was finding out occurrence of park objects on the scanned territory of Zvolen town by reconnaissance search. Then, within a terrain research, to deterrnine the appearance of exotic or inland woody plants in park objects. The next step was stock-taking of woody plants in the five localised objects. At this stock-taking of woody plants we specialized in health condition, vitality of woody plants, suitability of their outplantings and suggestion of potential modifications, which can lead to the improvement of several functions of greenery in these five objects. From the viewpoint of the categorization two objects were classified as "PARKS", next two objects as "SMALL AREA PARKS" and the last one as "REMAINS OF HISTORICAL OBJECTS". In all the objects we listed the exotic woody plants more frequent than inland woody plants.
