Uptake of nutrients and length growth of Rubus idaeus L. shoots in spruce geobiocoenoses contaminated by atmospheric pollutants | Príjem živín a dĺžkový rast výhonkov druhu Rubus idaeus L. v imisne znečistených smrekových geobiocenózach

The research was realised in hemioligotrophic and oligotrophic spruce geobiocoenoses of the 5th and 6th forest vegetation tier (fvt) influenced by atmospheric pollutants situated along altitudinal transect (950-1100 m a.s.l.) established in neighbouring of the Novoveská Huta village. The most in the Rubus idaeus shoots varied iron contents (117.3+- 89.3 mg kg/l d.w.), the leastboron contents (34.1+-4 mg/kg). Content of Mn was in the range of toxicity (2 524.8+-901.8 mg kg/l d.w). The lengths of raspberry shoots growing in segment of hemioligotrophic geobiocoenosis on damaged plot C (the 5th fvt, gtg Abieti-Fageta inferiora, Podsolic Cambisol) varied the most (55.5+-23.5 cm) and the shoots growing in segment of oligotrophic geobiocoenosis on non damaged plot B (the 6th fvt, gtg Fageta abietino-piceosa, Skeli-Humic Podzol) varied the least (27.1+-8.7 cm). The raspberry shoots sampled in geobiocoenoses of the 5th fvt were significantly higher, compared with shoots growing in 6th fvt.
