Two experimental thin-panelled homogeneous glassfibre/resin containers for cell Type 8000 were subjected to shock tests. The shock resistance of one container was satisfactory but the centre vertical rib of one long side of the other container fractured and was separated from the side. Both containers bulged considerably.
