In course of the research there was studied the influence of boars of the pietrain breed on the reproductive qualities of sows of the large white breed. The research was realized in the conditions of a pig complex of a Joint Stock Company 'Domanovichi' (Kalinkovichi, Gomel region of the Republic of Belarus). As a result of realized research it was revealed that in conditions of a pork production complex 'Domanovichi' the best indicators of efficiency (multiple fetation - 10.9 heads, milking efficiency - 68.4 kg, litter weight in 2 months - 186.1 kg) were obtained at sows of large white breed at crossing with boars of the pietrain breed in comparison with thoroughbred breeding (multiple fetation - 10,3 heads, milking capacity - 61.8 kg, litter weight in 2 months-160.3 kg), and obtained the mongrel young growth possessed higher (261g) intensity of growth (on 18 g or on 7.4% more than in a control group). In a test group counting on one sow the additional gain of body weight of pigs in number of 0.23 c was obtained which cost has made over 150 thousand Belarusian rubles.
