In course of the research there was studied the influence of pasturable and stable-extensive maintenance of dry cows in summer period on their physiological conditions, next lactation performance and reproductive ability. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus on a base of joint stock company 'Vasilishki' in Shchuchin district of Grodno region and also in research laboratory of Grodno State Agrarian University. As a result of realized research it was revealed that the pasturable maintenance of dry cows more than stable-extensive housing promoted metabolism normalization in an organism of animals. This was shown by: more optimum clinical and physiological indicators of an organism of dry cows (a pulse rate and breath, the hemoglobin content in erythrocyte, carotin, etc.); decrease in number of cases of newborn calves' disease; a condition of physical and biological properties of the cervical estrus slime specifying in higher readiness of animal genitals to beginning of pregnancy; growth of a daily average milk yield on a cow.
