In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of research into the surface waters of the pedigree cattle state farm 'Zadneprovski' in Orsha district, which give a good idea about the ecological state of territories, adjoining large cattle breeding complexes. Taking into account the fact, that a large number of agricultural lands are meliorated lands, where they utilize sewage waters of different origin, we thought it important to examine the influence of different levels of soil pollution by eco-toxicants on the productivity of plants, with the purpose of further correction of regimes of complex melioration and meeting ecological requirements. In course of the study there were marked insignificant increases of determined allowable values of copper and manganese in surface water of the Krapinenka river, that was typical for all water objects of the country. That was substantiated in most of the cases by factors of natural character – high regional content of mentioned above metals in natural waters.
