The article presents the results of theoretical investigations of the power roller grain crushing machine of different designs. According to the research the dependences for the calculation of power of grain crushing machines at different speed levels and sizes of roll and drum diameters, as well as the slope of the plane, spreading through the axis of the roller to the horizontal pane are obtained. The ratio of power of the rollers with different diameters of crushing machines spent on sliding and deformation of the grains is analyzed. Calculation schemes for definition of the forces, affecting on rollers of crushing machine is presented. Vertical, horizontal and equilibrium forces, acting affecting on rollers are determined. Dependence of power output of roller's rotating motion on grain deformation, slipping friction of the roller and friction in supporting bearer is substantiated.
