In course of the research there was evaluated the degree of transformation of peat soils on crop productivity. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of the research it was revealed that soils of different stages of evolution differed in the ability of formation of crop yields. Agro-peat soils and agro-mineral peat soils had the highest potential ability to form crop yields (grain - 50-60 kg/ha or more, potatoes - 300 kg/ha and more, corn for green mass - 500 kg/ha or more). The mineral residual peat soils had less productive capacity. At application of fertilizers, and in the presence of averages and favorable weather conditions, productivity of agricultural crops on soils of different stages of evolution was leveled, influence of various soil conditions on productivity formation decreased. Under adverse weather conditions, especially at surplus or deficiency of moisture, even on soils of high level of fertility low productivity was formed.
