The impact of the Egyptian European economic relations on some macro economic variables in the Egyptian agricultural economics

The study has provided four major chapters of the first section of which singled out the theoretical framework of reference and review of the most important studies and research on the Egyptian-European economic relations Part II dealt with the identification of trends in each of the European economy and the Egyptian economy during the period (1990-2008) and, in particular, the total agricultural variables. Where the results indicated the relative importance of low agricultural investment compared to investment in other sectors of the prudent national rate ranged between a low of 4% in 2007/2008 and a high of about 14.2% in 2001/2002 and that means the low volume of investments directed to the agriculture sector and a marked decline in recent years. Chapter III also addressed the main features of the structure of the European Foreign Trade. Where the study found the Egypt of improved level of GDP at factor cost and output in real terms and the current increased Household income and the corporate sector, while private savings, in addition to the recovery of domestic demand and increasing consumption and exports and imports. The fourth chapter is concerned with measuring the impact of European economic relations and the results of a token overall balance was the most important results. Results showed the form that complete trade liberalization in the framework of the partnership agreement will lead to lower government revenues, and savings and thereby increase the fiscal deficit budget and low domestic prices, domestic imports, which increases domestic demand for imports, and some local goods, leading to worsening trade deficit. Increase in GDP at factor cost and market prices by about 2% of fixed prices, either sectorally has increased the value of agricultural production and food products grew by 3% to the devaluation of the customs duties paid by the agricultural sector . Shown to reduce tariff rates on imports and trade liberalization have positive effects on the national economy in terms of improved level of GDP at factor cost and in real terms, and current income increased sector domestic corporate sector, increased private savings, in addition to robust domestic demand and increasing consumption and exports and imports. There are also some negative aspects that can be summarized as follows: _ agricultural products are exported to the procedures imposed by the European Union such as quotas that limit the import of agricultural an agricultural trade balance during the study period, agricultural exports have ranged from a low of about 1.7 billion pound the EU's recently for a free trade zone with the Gulf states, which will reflect positively on the Mediterranean Partnership by expanding the network of contacts and trade exchanges and mutual benefits among these markets, and stimulate foreign investment, which can be launched from Europe to the Arabian Gulf and passing through Egypt. There are also some negative aspects that can be summarized as follows: _ agricultural products are exported to the procedures imposed by the European Union such as quotas that limit the import of agricultural products, as well as to identify certain seasons during the year on the export of agricultural commodities. Where it is under Egypt's exports to restrictive practices is in the shares and the prices of agricultural products and standards specifications and rules of origin, all of which lead to the reduction of agricultural exports to EU countries. That foreign aid allocated under the partnership programs is conditional on political, economic, political terms it is linked to democracy under the same conditions imposed by the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
