Effects of sowing pattern on yield of grain corn cultivars in Jiroftregion.

In order to study of the effect sowing pattern on yield grain corn cultivars, an experiment was conduct in 2007 and 2008 at Agriculture Research Center Jiroft and Kahnoug. Using split plot design in basis of RCBD design with 3 replications. The main factors were corn planting pattern in 4 levels (Single _ row, Twin _ rows, on line in furrow and one line in furrow and then replace furrow by row) and corn cultivars as the subplot in 4 levels (single cross 704, single cross 700, single cross 647 and single cross 500). The results of combined analsis showed the effect of sowing pattern on grain yield was significant at 5% and the significant at 1% levels. The highest grain yield 14,95 and 14,18 (t/ha) obtained by using of line in furrow and then replace furrow by row treatment and twin _ furrow treatment. The highest grain yield 15,81 and 14,60 (t/ha) obtained by using of S. c 704 a S. c 700 Karaj. The highest grain yield 17,37, 16,59 and 16,41 obtained by using S.c 704 cultivar with one line infurrow and then replace furrow by row pattern and S. c 700 cultivar with one line in furrow and then replace furrow by row and S. c 704 with twin _ row Treatment. This result can be recommened for Jiroft region
