Building on the July Framework Agreement: options for agriculture

This issue brief is intended to provide negotiators and other interested stakeholders with an independent analysis of options for elaborating the “July Framework Agreement” as negotiations between WTO members move towards the development of concrete negotiating modalities at the Hong Kong Ministerial in December 2005. It brings together the findings of three separate task forces assembled by the International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium (IATRC) to look into these issues.The outputs of these groups are summarised in the main report under the headings of the three main 'pillars' of the negotiations:options for domestic supportoptions for market accessoptions for export competitionThe original commissioned papers which formed the basis for discussions in the task forces are also available (see Further Information)
