In order to study poultry manure , nitrogen and their interaction effects on quality and quantity of tomato, an experiment was carried out in a completely randomized block design in factorial experiment with twelve treatments and three replications from 2004 growing season to 2006 at Kahriz Station.Treatments included two factors, 1) three levels of poultry manure, M0(control), M10 (10ton/ha), M20(20ton/ha) and four levels of nitrogen as N0(control), N1(consumption of nitrogen on the basis of soil test),N2 (nitrogen consumption as 30% more than N1) and N3(consumption of nitrogen as 30% less than N1).Statistical analysis of variance showed non significant differences in tomato yield with regard to the experimental treatments. The main effect of poultry manure consumption on tomato yield became significant at á=0.05 level and poultry manure treatments effect on tomato yield increases in the case of statically analysis were as M0=50.97 T/ha (B) ,M10=52.42 T/ha (AB),M20=55.64 T/ha(A). Nitrogen and the contraction effect of nitrogen and poultry manure on tomato yield was not significant .According to the results , consumption of poultry manure until 20ton/ha increased the amount of tomato yield, but there were no significant differences between consumption of poultry manure at the rate of 10 and 20 ton/ha in contrast with respect to control. Therefore consumption of 10 ton/ha poultry manure and nitrogen consumption less than 30% on the basis of soil analysis will be proposed.
