2011

In order to study the effect of irrigation regimes on the vegetative characteristics, yield and its components of soybean genotypes, this experiment was conducted in Moghan agricultural research center during 2009-2010. The experimental design was split plot based on randomized complete block design, with 3 replication. The main plot included irrigation regimes I1, I2,I3 and I4 include irrigation after 60, 100, 140 and 180 mm evaporation from A class pan respectively , 3 soybean genotypes Linford, L17 and Williams assigned in the sub plot. Analysis showed that grain yield affected by irrigation regimes. The highest and lowest grain yield obtains in I1 (3632.9 kg/h) and in I4 (1542.8kg/h) respectively in 2009. With increasing interval irrigation from I1to I4 growth period, plant height and leaf area index (LAI) reduced significantly. Number pods per plant, number seeds per m2 and weight of 100 grains and grain yield affected by irrigation regimes too. There was significant different between genotypes from the viewpoint of the vegetative characteristics and grain yield. Interaction effect between irrigation regimes and genotype was significant, so that the highest grain yield in I1 and I2 treatment was produced by Williams and in I3 and I4 treatment by Linford cultivar.
