A new spray rose cultivar 'Live Pink' was bred from the cross between white spray cultivar, 'White Candy' and red spray cultivar 'Madonna' at the Jeollanamdo Agricultural Research and Extension Services (JARES). The cross was made in 2004, and 'Live Pink' was finally selected in 2008 after investigating characteristics for three times from 2007 to 2008. 'Live Pink', a strong pink spray cultivar has large and moderate pink flowers. This cultivar has average yield of 121.5 stems/㎡/year, cut flower length of 68.4 cm, flower diameter of 5.5 cm, 30.9 petals, and vase life of 9.8 days. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar was relatively higher than that of 'Madonna'.
