The field experiment was carried out on base Kolíňany in 2006-2007. The aim of the experiment was to evaluate of the influence of decayed waste on quantitative and qualitative parameters of the sunflower. In the experiment were used five fertilization variants: 1.control variant, 2.farmyard manure 25 t per ha, 3.decayed waste 50 t per ha (application in autumn), 4.farmyard manure 40 t per ha, 5.decayed waste 50 t per ha (application during vegetation). The highest average yield sunflower phytomass (in dry mass) has been at the variant of decayed waste (application during vegetation) 21.81 t per ha. The highest average yields of sunflower achenes were (at the variants of decayed waste) 1.62 t per ha (application during vegetation). The highest average content of the fat has been at the variant of decayed waste applied during vegetation (48.75 %). The highest average production of the oil has been at the variant of decayed waste applied during vegetation too (1.77 t per ha).
