This study presents design, analysis, and experiment of a three-stage Gasifier with rice husk as a fuel. The three stages are pyrolysis in a fluidized bed reactor, partial combustion at a thoat section, and reduction at a char bed. The ranges of temperatures for pyrolysis, partial combustion, and reduction stages are 400 to 600 deg C, 700 to 900 deg C, and 500 to 700 deg C, respectively. Percentages by volume of CO2, O2, CH4, H2, CO, and N2 are 11.925 percent, 4.671 percent, 2.873 percent, 7.858 percent, 16.308 percent, and 56.362 percent on average, respectively. An average tar content in a producer gas is 1050 mg/N cubic m.
