Objective of the research was to develop motive and design of tie-dye fabrics of the Tambon Don Kra Beungds woman development group, Amphoe Photharam, Ratchaburi Province. The particular objectives were to study motive and design of tie-dye fabrics of the target group, study development trend and inherited technology for designing and dyeing tie-dye fabrics, and study development trend of design and inherited technology for tie-dye fabrics processing. The results showed that the Tambon Don Kra Beungds woman development group consisted of 40 members. The main occupation was cattle raising. The supplementary occupation were making tie-dye fabrics, selling the cow dung manure, growing baby corn, and making soap. Income from tie-dye fabrics sale was 1,000-2,000 Baht per month. The motive of tie-dye fabrics that can be sold most was Kayum pattern. After passing on technology for tie-dye fabrics design it was found that, in general the satisfaction of trainees toward training program was high. After passing on technology for tie-dye fabrics processing it was found that the satisfaction of trainees toward making hats and bags from tiedye fabrics was in high level overall. They had knowledge, understanding, and craftsmanship in good level. The monitoring and evaluation after passing on technology showed that most trainees could make hats and bags for sale and one trainee can design 5 more patterns for bags from tie-dye fabrics.
