This research was focused on studying effects of viscosities of LDPE and NR on properties of thermoplastic natural rubber (TPNR) prepared from NR and LDPE (60:40 w/w ratio). NR compounds were mixed with LDPE by using an internal mixer. Dicumyl peroxide (DCP) 0.5 phr was used as a crosslinking agent for dynamic vulcanization (DV). The melt flow indices (MFI) of studied LDPEs were 2, 7 and 30 g/10 min whereas Mooney viscosities of NR compounds were 5, 10 and 20 (ML(1+4)100 deg C). It was revealed that TPNR prepared from LDPE MFI 2 g/10 min was exhibited the highest Young's modulus and abrasion resistance. It was found that insignificant changes in overall mechanical properties of TPNR were observed when either Mooney viscosities of NR were decreased or the number of recycle was increased. However, from SEM study, it was revealed smaller and well dispersed LDPE phase in TPNR
