Phytoplankton Composition in Fish Ponds Near to Stara Zagora Bulgaria

The phytoplankton composition of three fish ponds near Stara Zagora was studied. A total of 100 species, varieties and forms belonging to 55 genera of Cyanophyceae, Chlorophyta, Zygnemophyta, Euglenophyta, Bacillariophyta, Pyrrophyta, Xanthophyta were established. The number of taxa tends to increased from July – August.
