In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented results of studying the effectiveness of the bactericidal action of a new national disinfectant based quaternary ammonium compounds 'Estadez S 3-2-1'. In the first stage of the research there was studied the bactericidal and fungicidal drug activity of the preparation in vitro by means of the quantitative suspension method. In addition, there were conducted studies of the bactericidal properties of the composition under conditions simulating high organic pollution (protein load). In the second phase there was investigated the efficacy of bactericidal action the drug during the disinfection of various livestock houses (calf-houses, cowsheds, piggeries and poultry houses). Bacteriological quality control of disinfection was carried out by the presence in the air and on the surfaces of the treated area of viable cells sanitary indicator microorganisms belonging to the 1st and 2nd group of resistance to disinfectants (quality control of disinfection which is controlled by the presence of E. coli and staphylococci ) .For the disinfection of air and surfaces of buildings in presence of animals, we have suggested a new preparation on the basis of quarter compounds of ammonium, which has clear bactericide action and is not toxic for the animals when used for a long time.
