إنجليزي. The genotype-on-phenotype regression, whose theoretical bases were given in HENDERSON'S paper (1975), is presented through two examples. This tool, which integrates the heritability concept and genetic correlations, has shown a number of advantages over classical regression for the choice of breeding criteria. A HENDER program, written in FORTRAN for the CII-HB Mini-6 computer and compatible with the statistical software AMANCE (BACHACOU et al., 1981), can be provided on request.
