The efficacy of rodenticide Facorat (Bradifacoum ingredient) in wax block bait shape and pellet shape in alfalfa fields in Chandab region in Tehran Province and Sojas region in Zanjan province were investigated. The project was performed in randomized complete block design in four treatment and three replications. The efficacy of rodenticides were evaluated by counting active holes seven days after treatment. Seven days after treatment rodenticides efficacy was found to reach average efficacy of 93 %Facorat Wax block, 89% Facorat pellet, 89% Bromodialone (Control Rodenticide) l in Chandab in Tehran province, and an average efficacy of 81% Facorat wax block, 86% Facorat pellet 86% Bromodialone (Control Rodenticide) in Sojas region in Zanjan Province These findings indicate potent efficacy of rodenticides Facorat (Bradifacoum) as a second generation anticoagulant rodenticide. Therefore two bait forms of Facorat (Wax block and Pellet) are effective in control rodent pest species Nesokia indica, .Microtus socilais and could be used in rodent control program.
