Study of uniform regional barley yield trials In cold dryland areas.

In order to study of adaptation and stability of advanced barley lines in cold/temperate and dry conditions, number of 23 lines with Sahand variety evaluated in RCBD desgin with 4 replications in 7 research stations during of 3 years(2000-2003). In this study, barley lines evaluated based on agronomy and morphology traits during of growth process, and after harvesting with used of variance, combine and stability analyses on grain yield, reaction of lines evaluated in environment different conditions. Results of combine analysis grain yield in 3 years and 6 locations indicated that between lines were significant different in probability %99. The based on means comparied, Sahand variety had highest yield (2640 kg/ha). The based on stability analysis, with method %CV and Lin & Binns lines 2,7,16,24 and with method RANK lines 12,3,14,24 were stable. Selection of synchronized for high grain yield and stability indicated that, line 24 (Sahand) is suitable variety for cold/temperate and dry areas.
