Effects of different application methods of urea fertilizer drilling in planting time, topdressing and foliar spraying on grain yield and quality of different dryland wheat varieties were studied in Maragheh, Ilam, Sannadaj and Gachsaran. In order to do this study, experiments were conducted with treatments (N0, N40+20, N30+30, N20+40, N60+0, N0+60, N40+F0, N40+F1 and N40+F2) which F0 is zero urea solution, F1 is 2.5 percent urea solution and F2 is 5 percent urea solution applications and with different wheat varieties in Maragheh Saradari, Azar 2 and Turkey 3702, in Ilam Sabaln cross and Nastour, in In sannadj similar varities to Maragheh, in Gachsaran varities Kohdasht and Zagrous with arrangement of split plot desgin with three replications in different research stations for three years (1386-1389). The measurements were grain, biological yields, N uptake and protein contents. The similar results in different regions were obtained and indicated that main effects of nitogen treatemnts, wheat varieties, years and interaction of effects nitrogen treatments with wheat varieties were significantly different. Treatemnts of N40+F1 N20+40 and N40+20 compared to other treatnments increased grain, straw and protein yields in Maraghheh, Ilam and Gachsaran similarly, while little differences of treatments were ontained in Sanndaj. In Sanndaj in addition to N40+20 and foliair application N60+0 and N40+F1 had hights grain, straw and protein yields. Wheat varities to some extent were different in grain, straw and protein yields in different regions. In Maragheh and Sanndaj Turkey 37032 as much as Azar2 compared to Sardari increased significantly grain yields. In Ilam, Nastour increased grain and straw yield compared to Sabalan cross. While, Sabalan cross increased protein yield compared to Nastour varieties. It can be conculded that split application of nitrogen compared to fall application can increase crop production. Moreover, sparying of urea with 2.5 percent was effective as much as of split applications in increasing of wheat production. foliar application of Urea can be considered as alternative for topdress application.
