This work describes the technologies for producing energy from variety of biomass. Displayed are the kinds of biomass, characteristics. Traditionally, the main raw material for energy production from biomass is considered forest products. However, the energy can be obtained from the 1 ha annual of arable land more than from 1 ha of forest wood annual growth. Therefore, in this work so much attention is devoted to energy crops and biogas production technology as one of the most promising for energy production from on the field grown biomass. Development of this technology in Latvia has great potential, because a lot of unused land. The book is intended for LUA study sources - Bioenergetics and Growing of energy crops. It can also be used for bioenergetic specialists, farmers and others.
