To study the residual effect of phosphorous, sulfur & Compost on yield and physico- chemical characteristics of soils in corn, wheat and sugarbeet rotation, A split, split plot in three replication was conducted. Five year permanently plots were treated as: sulfur for main plots, compost for first level of splition and phosphorous for second level of splition. After harvesting the corns, the dry yield of all treatments were . mesoured. The means were compared with LSD test. The results . have shownthat, sulfar and compost treatments (S1C0,S1C1) had significantly (in %1 probobility) efected the yields. It is interpreted that , yield increasing in SI CO was due to increased absorption of phosphorous. Phosphorous had also affected the dry matter yields. It was significant in one percent of probablity related to check plots. Generally, the most highest dry matter yield was resulted in compost with sulfur and in second level of phosphorous treatments. This shows the optimum level of fertilising with this elements in corn to produce the highest yield. T - ._ _ In second year, after harvesting , results have shown that, the residual compost and sulfur (SIC1) hadn't effected significantly. In third year,effect of compost on sugarbeet was significant in %1 of probablity. But other treatments had no significant effeet. In fourth year, SI CO but not other treatments had significant effect on wheat yield. In Fifth year , effect of different level,s of phosphorous, (till P3) was significant, yield differemcios between P3 and PI was about 8 ton/ha. Posphorous. Treatment of p4 , infivst year, increased the amount of available p from 13.1 to 39.5 ppm but, it gradually deareased during folowing years and reachs to 10 ppm in fifth year .using campost increased the am ount of oc from . 0.99 to 1.3% in fivst year but it decreased anually and reach, to 0.7 in last year.use The of compost increased the phosphoeous availability from 13.1 to 19 mg/kg in first year but it decreased consounetly. use of sulfur had no considerably effect oM% and awail aisle phosphorous of soils . Electrical conductivity of Soil before planting was 4.7rdS/m and dirt change in garvestins time . But Ec in next years (harvesting of wheat and sugarbeet) in creased to 7-9ds/m . there was no affect on pb from oil treatments and it was 1.22 to; 1.30gr/cm3 during the experiment. soil In filtration incveased by using of sulfur and compost. By this , 1= 9.5 mm/hr increaedto 8.2mm/hrby sulfur and to 8.6mm/hrby . compost treatments. All the treatments has shown that, there was no affect on percent of sugar in sugarbeeis.;
