In order to study of adaptability and effects of 2 native apple dwarf rootstock (Azayesh, Gamialmasi) and 2 external apple rootstock (M9, MMI06) on increase of trees vegetative growth and qualitative and quantitative yield of 4 apple cultivars (Red and Golden delicas, Foje and Galla) were studied. The study was done with factorial experiment based on RCBD with 4 replications and was carried out in Semirom horticultural research station of Esfahfn during 8 years from 2002. The first factor included different rootstock and the second factor included different apple cultivars. In each plot 8 trees were planted with 3*2m space. All of trees apple trained as palmet form. During the research, compatibility of scion and rootstock and vegetative traits studied before starting of ftuit production and ftuit quantity and quality studied after ftuit production. The results showed that: All of rootstock, especially local dwarf rootstock are adaptable with climatic condition of experimental place. Also all apple cultivars had suitable compatibility on different rootstock, they did not show any incompatibility signs and also their vegetative growth, and establishment in soil was satisfactory. Also apple cultivars have a good production with the best quality fruit in 3 years. Kay words: Apple, cultivar, vegetative, rootstock, Azayesh, Gamialmasi, vegetative growth, yield
