This experiment was conducted to study performance of native hen of Isfahan prmin e and heir crosses with exotic breeds under rural areas. Five genetic groups we re formed which contained of : 1)Random unselected native fowl [CCl 2)Impro ed native fowl [BE] 3)Crossing between female' of BE and male of egg-type breed, 4)Crossing between femal s of egg-type breed and males of BB, 5)Crossing between females of egg-type breed and males of meat-type breed. During two ge neratious (within three years). all genetic groups were distributed at 45-60 day of ages under Isfahan rural areas. Sexual age (SAG) weight of first egg (WFE) number of egg (EP), and egg weight (EW) were recorded during laying periods (up to 66 weeks of age). The results showed that SAG in CC group was not significantly different (P 0.05) between two generations but increased in 2ed generation of other genetic groups. Genetic group had not any significant effect (PO.OS) on EP and EW. but generation was significant effect (PO.OS). During egg production periods because there was highly negative correlation between EP and EW in this study , by mcreasing EP in 2ed ge neration incompared to 1 st generation, amounts of EW were decreased significantly (P 0.05). This experiment showed that in rural conditions, effect of environment factors in quantitative traits such as EP or EW may be more important than genetic factors.
