Olive fruit fly Bactrocera (Dacus) oleae is one of the injurious pests of the olive which has caused considerable damage on olive orchards in recent years. Larval feeding on the fruit induce fruit fall as well as decline in the qualitative and quantitative variables of the olive oil .Moreover, exit hole of the larvae provides way to additional fungal inoculations leading to to fruit deformation and loss of marketing values. Different cultivars show different reaction to pest damage which could be used in integrated pest management. Using the olive collections of the Roudbar, Tarom and Loshan research stations located in Gilan, Zanjan and Qazvin provinces respectivelly, this research was carried out during 2005 2007 . Sampling from fruits was started from hard pitting and continued untill harvest time during which 20 50 fruit samples each from one replication (totally 60 150 fruits) were collected and examined carefully visually and under binocular microscope in the laboratory. This report includes the station and year wise results as well as the combined one. Over all results showed that konservalia cultivar due to its susceptibility from early season until harvest could be assumed as a trap crop in the integrated management of the pest.
