Bacterial wilt disease observed in most of potato fields is result of race 3 biovar II of Pseudomonas solanacearum. The disease will be transferred using infected tubers and will infect healthy plants after establishment in the soil. A design and quot;Study on the effect of field operation and tolerance of varieties in control of potato bacterial wilt disease Pseudomonas solanacearum and quot; was carried out in Faridan, Kaboutarabad and Dastgerd research station for two years (1994-1995) in four-separated experiment. Effect of crop rotation and field operation on the wilt plants was studied in the format of Random Complete Block Design (RCBD) in Fridan region using non-host plants; sainfoin, wheat, barley, corn and bean. The rotation of potato- corn- potato and potato- saifoin- sainfoin- potato could sufficiently control wilt disease (34.2% and 29.07%, respectively). The tolerance of potato varieties; Mourne, Famousa, Atlas, Aula, Cozima and Marfonato race 3biovar2 was studied in Kaboutarabad research station. Mourne, Famousa and Aula showed high tolerance to wilt disease. Effect of tuber quality on controlling of wilt disease was studied in Kaboutarabad and Dastgerd research station. Treatment of tubers with 35¢ªC and 85¡¾5 humidity for three weeks and exclusion of infected tubers had superiority to other conditions
