إنجليزي. The aim of this study was to determine some of the structural and technical features of sheep breeding in the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region of Turkey.To reach this aim a survey was carry out in the 251 farms located in 52 villages of 14 districts of 4 provinces including Gaziantep,Sanlıurfa, Adıyaman and Diyarbakır provinces in GAP region which were selected by simple random sampling method.

Bölgeyi koyun varlığı ve üretim tekniği bakımından temsil eden Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman ve Diyarbakır illerine bağlı, basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle tespit edilen 14 ilçe ve 52 köydeki 251 örnek işletmede anket çalışması uygulanmıştır.
