Essential oils from aerial part of Achillea wilhelmsii C.Koch, Myrtus communis L., Tanacetum polycephalum Schultz Bip and Teucrium polium L. were isolated by using Clevenger and tested at the rates of 8000, 4000, 2000, 1000, 500, 250, 125, 62.5 and 0 mg l-1 were for their nematicidal activity against the second stage juvenile (J2) of Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood in laboratory. Analysis by Gas Chromatography (GC), GC-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and HPLC were done to identifiy chemical componenet of the above plants presented in their essential oil and water extracts. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (HN.M.R) was done to investigate the properties of organic molecules by drowing their spectrome. Significant difference was achieved on nematicidal activity of essential oils based on the plant species and oil concentrations. No GC and GC-MS led to identification of 41, 38, 39 and 45 major compounds from T. polium, M. communis, T. polycephalum and A. wilhelmsii oils, respectively. Among the all chemical components, 10 components were presented and identified in all tested plants. Use of HPLC resulted 2, 1, 3 and 4 chemical components in the extracts of T. polium, M. communis, T. polycephalum and A. wilhelmsii oils, respectively.
