In order to develop segregating generations and selection of breeding lines which are including the suitable agronomic traits such as early flowering and therfore early maturity, average plant height and other ideotype traits such as high seed yield, F3 generations of 12 crosses were studied at Agriculture Research Station of Baiekola in 2007. The cross combinations were yielded from crosses of two restorers of Hyola401 and Hyola308 (R401 and R308, respectively) with six open pollinated varieties including RW-008911, 19H, RGS003, Option500, Sarigol and RGS3006. Each population was planted saparete from the other populations in rows with 30 cm apart. In the flowering stage of each population, the superior genotypes were selected based on ideotype characteristics including early flowering, early maturity, average plant height, high number of pods per plant, pod length and tolerance to disease. During four sequential years( from 2007 to 2011) selection and selfing of suitable genotypes were done. Finally in F6 generation, 33 inbreed lines were selected and these lines will be evaluated in the next preliminary yield trial. Key words: Rapeseed, segregating generations, ideotype, early maturity
