Study on segregation population for lentil large seed size on dryland condition at khorasan north.

North Khorasan have suitable condition for planting pulse legumes. One of yhe best methods to increasing genetic diversity is crossing of better lines to finding the best adapted high yielded line or lines for planting in dryland condition. In this trial we had 10 population as F6 that generated from last year F5 segregating population, and 2 check including local check and improved check (ILL4400). These segregating population recived from ICARDA last year. Each population planted in one row with 50 cm width. Growth characters (%Stand, Day to Flowering, Day to Maturity) was recorded during growth stages. Finally 30 plants were selected among all of populations. These plants seeds will planted in the next year.
