For evaluating the yield of superior sweet corn hybrids, an experiment was conducted during 2000-2001 at Neyshabour Agricuktural Research Station. nine hybrids were compared with KSC 403 as the commercial check. A RCBD with four replication was used for each treatment. Time calander and Gdd indexes were used for calculating phenological growth periods. Besids of phenology, yield components and other phenotypic treatswere studied too. Based on these two hybrids KSC 406, KTC 401 wITH 87/2 and 89/5 days from sowing to harvest (72% grain moidture) with Gdd requirments about 1159 and 1165/5 centigrade have been the shortest and latest hybrids respectively. Differences for hybrids grain yield was highli significant (p=0/99) for two years. Hybrids KSC 406 and KTC 401 have had the lowest and higest grain yield with average 9/3 and 12/5 t/ha respectively. Stepwise corrolation analysis was cleared that the traits such as ear diametr, ear lenght, the number of sucker per plant and plants that harvested, have had the most effects on grain yield (r2 = 0/815**). All hybrids excepts the KSC 406, have had better results than check, but hybrids KSC 417 and KTC 401 have been the best one,s for Neyshabour region.
